With guided tours provided at the lodge, you can enjoy birding without the pressure of needing to know where to go and where to look. Some interesting species are found permanently in the area as well as some migratory birds which are found during certain seasons. Be surprised by the diversity in water, woodland and raptors you'll find.

• Midwaters Miombo Woodlands - Thick-billed Cuckoo, Southern Hyliota, Willow Warbler, Tambourine Doves

• Kyle National Park - Black-chested Snake Eagle, Martial Eagle, Lanner Falcon, Tawny Eagle, Verreaux Eagle

• Lake Kyle - Goliath Heron, Hamerkop, Straited/Squacco Heron, Saddle-billed Stork

• Wetlands - Little Grebe, Fulvous Duck, Grey-headed Kingfisher

• Glenlivet Mountains - Narina Trogon, Marico Flycatcher, African Goshawk
