Beak Seek - Inaugural
Come together at Romelda Lakeside Retreat for a feather-full weekend of birding! We will host the pioneering “Beak Seek” weekend in June 2025, with an exciting few days of various birding opportunities in the mountains, on the lake and rivers, wetlands and the nearby Miombo woodlands.

About the event
Teaming up to cover all of these areas and beat the number of beaks seen in each area, we want to encourage a fun and knowledge sharing weekend with a bit of competition!
Spot prizes available for winners of various categories.
The intention is to connect bird-watchers from different areas with a spectrum of experience together and encourage a camaraderie within the local and regional birding community.
